The name comes from its ancient use in the centuries, of holding the new couples of the family in this part of the house. The apartment is on the first floor and is attainable from the court, with a neat faience ladder that ends on a landing with balcony. The apartment is large and well articulated, and is placed in one of the most ancient parts of the palace. The living rooms look out on a little Italian garden full of roses, and the west side is looked out on a widest landscape of Valdelsa. Monochrome frescoes, datable among XV and XVII century, decorate the fireplace of the big hall and the walls and the ceiling of the studio. The floors are made of XIII century original faience . Entirely furnished with XIX century pieces original from Tuscany.
